1920 : Mr. P.G. Mehta joins Ms Felber Jucker Co. Ltd (India) as their Executive G.M.

1937 : Mr. P.G.Mehta establishes a mill stores trading concern for dealing in Shuttles, Healds, Reeds, Jacquard Cards, Beltings, Picking Bands, etc.

1948 : With a year into Indian Independence Mr. P.G. Mehta establishes a Modern Shuttle Manufacturing Factory in Amraiwadi area of Ahmedabad.

1959 : Expansion of the business activities and setting up of the Engineering Division for manufacturing Textile Wet Processing & Finishing Machinery,with the assistance of Mr.S.P.Mehta.

1967 : Mr. P.G.Mehta and his family aquire the controlling interest in M/s S.B.E.L., a company located on N.H.8, Narol, in Ahmedabad, and engaged in manufacture and sales of Textile Processing Machinery.

1990 : Running of the Factory Plant passes to exclusive control of Mr. Girish P. Mehta

1993 : Factory Buildings alongwith Plant & Machinery taken over by Mr. G.P. Mehta’s Family under the family partition arrangement.
